Bliss Boutique was a beauty therapy salon based in New Zealand, offering a range of treatments, including massage, facials, and waxing. The business was undergoing a transformation—moving to a new location, evolving its services, and rebranding to better reflect its focus on natural, calming beauty experiences.

The goal was to craft a brand identity that aligned with Bliss Boutique’s warm, holistic, and client-focused approach, moving away from its previous black, white, and gold aesthetic in favour of soft, neutral tones that embodied relaxation and care.

The Scope

When Bliss’s founder approached me, she was seeking a complete rebrand that would align with her salon’s evolution.

  • She needed a refreshed brand identity to match her new holistic approach.
  • A softer, more natural color palette to replace the bold luxury aesthetic.
  • Versatile brand assets that could be seamlessly used across social media, stationery, and salon marketing materials.

While the primary request was a logo, it was important that the branding extended beyond just a mark. It needed to capture the calm, modern, and inviting experience her clients would receive in the new salon space.

The Concept

The new brand identity for Bliss was designed to evoke tranquility, warmth, and a sense of care. Inspired by natural beauty and holistic wellness, the neutral colour palette featured cream, warm peachy hues, crisp whites, and a navy blue for contrast where needed. The result was a soothing and timeless aesthetic.

The logo and typography were crafted with simplicity in mind, ensuring an elegant, modern, and approachable feel. Organic shapes and delicate details reflected the thoughtful, personalized service Bliss provided.

From stationery and social media assets to branded salon materials, the final brand identity offered cohesion and flexibility, allowing Bliss to make a lasting impression across all customer touchpoints.
