The Scope
As a brand that prioritises design excellence, Kind Design needed an identity that reflected its personality; fun, inspiring, and professional. The goal was to create a brand that felt approachable yet refined, balancing creativity with strategic thinking.
The challenge was to ensure that Kind Design’s visual identity could seamlessly translate across various platforms, from digital spaces like social media and websites to printed materials, client presentations, and branded merchandise. Every touchpoint needed to embody the essence of the brand.
The Concept
The brand identity for Kind Design is a reflection of my personality - playful yet professional, creative yet calculated. The logo, typography, and colour palette were all carefully chosen to represent the brand’s core values.
The name provided the perfect four-letter word to create a wordmark logo that is short, sweet, and memorable. Paired with the star icon to symbolise creativity and the full-stop to symbolise purpose, the logo stands strong as an iconic visual identifier for the brand.
The Kind of Black, Kind of Pink, and Kind of White colour scheme strike a balance between vibrancy and sophistication, ensuring versatility across different applications. The typography choices provide structure and personality, making the brand feel polished yet approachable. Graphic elements, illustrations, and patterns add an extra layer of creativity, showcasing the brand’s love for design that tells a story.
From the website to social media, marketing materials to brand touchpoints, Kind Design’s identity is designed to be memorable, adaptable, and, most importantly, authentically Kind.
