The Scope
When Kerry approached me, he was looking for a simple yet effective way to promote his business - starting with a logo and business cards. However, while the brief seemed straightforward, the brand needed to do more than just exist; it had to stand out. The challenge was to create a bold, recognisable identity that would not only serve as an iconic visual marker but also translate seamlessly across marketing materials, signage, social media, and Kerry’s website. The goal was clear: build a brand that would make a lasting impression and position Wheeler’s ahead of competitors.
The Concept
The brand identity for Wheeler’s was inspired by the very essence of Kerry’s craft. A combination of straight, curved, and dashed lines was used to symbolise roads, waves, and stitching - paying respect to the automotive and marine elements of the business. The circular logo was designed for versatility, offering a clean and timeless shape that can be effortlessly applied across different platforms and materials. With modern, easy-to-read typography, the final result is a professional, recognisable brand identity that reflects both precision and craftsmanship.
